Reading a Hiace model code
- KDH at the start means a diesel engine.
- TRH means petrol.
- LH is an older diesel generation, from the years before the current shape.
- Roof height and body length change the space inside more than the badge does. A high roof lets you stand up, which matters for a camper; our Hiace dimensions guide compares the sizes.
Checking a used Hiace
