Bid in JPY is the amount the customer authorises Carbarn to bid up to in Japanese yen. The vehicle may sell for less than the entered bid. If that happens, the final calculation should use the actual winning price.

Yes. The auction card can include a quick Bid in JPY field so the estimated landed price updates immediately. The customer should still open the vehicle and cost breakdown before proceeding with deposit.

After deposit, the vehicle appears in your bid portal. Carbarn reviews the auction sheet, photos, condition notes and import eligibility, and a Japan-side inspector photographs the car. The final bid is only submitted after these checks are done and you confirm.
